Domain-general issues
So far we have highlighted some trends in research pertaining to specific subject areas. We now provide a brief overview of the complementary trend which deals with the so called domain independent studies. These include epistemological studies, studies on reasoning, and scientific thinking and co-ordination of theory and evidence among others.
