I work on "Understanding Causality in Natural Selection". There are differences in the student's and Darwin's understanding of natural selection and the argument is that these differences are because the students fail (to whatever extent) to understand the unique nature of causality in natural selection. The focus of the work then is to define the problematic of evolution education centering around the issues of causality in natural selection, and to think about a possible way in which this causality can be communicated to the students.
